Novacel Celebrates 5 Years of its TSC1 Machine
While Novacel has several manufacturing sites in Europe and the United States, we are celebrating the fifth anniversary of the TSC1 machine in Italy.

Novacel, an Industry 4.0 Company
TSC1 stands for Techno Smart Coating, reflecting the fact that it has been designed to coat films intelligently, in line with an Industry 4.0 model. Its processes are fully automated. Connected to Novacel's servers, it processes a large quantity of data to optimize both incoming and outgoing flows. It is also equipped with automatic film tension control.
The TSC1, spanning an impressive 52 meters, is a production powerhouse. Given its ability to produce remarkable volumes and widths of up to 2700mm, Novacel is well-equipped to meet ever-growing market demand.
Actions to minimize our carbon footprint
As part of its environmental commitment, Novacel has installed 2,000 m² of solar panels, saving 192 tons of CO2 annually.
Additionally, Novacel has set up one of Europe's largest solvent recovery units, helping achieve maximum reduction of its emissions.
Iconic products in the Novacel range
The exceptional capabilities of the TSC1 allow the production of the most technical and iconic ranges in the Novacel portfolio. The 4228 REF, a global benchmark for LASER cutting, is now available in a dozen mutually complementary versions, including the OXYGEN range, the first eco-designed series of process and protection films.
Coated with rubber adhesive, this innovation comes in 3 technologies aimed at reducing carbon emissions for our customers.
